Like 95% of clients literally look at me like I am crazy when I ask for the password and they keep just giving me a PIN. Also, their aggressive forcing of PINs and not ever asking for the real password until that PIN breaks can f-off. Not to mention those random moments when Windows craps the bed and gets stuck in a void of not accepting a password AND doesn't/can't self-update when resetting the password for the MS account on a different unit's browser. Though there are also a shocking amount of college students that will use their college email and never add a fallback for when they lose the school account. Tends to be older clients that still by default give home numbers and tend to not have thought about how using ISP email can just go away if they change service. I actually did this after reading your reply! I just wish it would also work for Microsoft Account users for the random folks that unfortunately created their accounts with ISPs they don't have anymore AND set their landline phone as the recovery txt number. This one important missing element for non-Bitlocker NVMe and Optane drives is burning me out and stress is through the roof. Staffing is waaaay to small AND we have basically churned out all the CAs to the point that they don't even know/understand how to spot units that will be a problem or even to go ahead and get stuff needed for Bitlocker for that matter.

So much of my day is wasted with basically all client's wanting data and not being able to just get it like I can with basically all SATA drives. So I am just seeing if or what others use/do and/or see if anyone has found a way to make MRI bind with NVMe. But that doesn't have something like FMOD for simple straight forward data info (like showing folder sizes and visually comparing stuff). So far I have been having to resort to booting an Ubuntu live DVD as a last hope. But I have also started to run into new units that have Optane and will only allow data to be seen while the drives are in the unit and just straight up don't show up outside of Disk Management. Bitlocker already turns into annoying/frustrating efforts to have to call clients for information that many of them either don't know (I hate so much that Microsoft pushes PINs that can't be used and lead to clients not remembering that there ever was a password).

But has anyone found their own ways for making it work? With more and more units shipping with them, it continues to make life frustrating when the OS isn't booting normally and trying to get data without having to open everything. I know that the MRI atm doesn't have the ability to boot bind with Windows installs that are one NVMe and Optane drives.
